Russian government has issued a decree #1269 dated 15.07.2022 which adopted an amendment for previous regulation and made trully possible a parallel import of vehicles by any Russian company. Before that only individuals were eligible to parallel import cars without permission of a manufacturer.

The new procedure prescribes a conformity assessment of every single imported vehicle after application for "single vehicle safety certificate" to authorized certification body. Having an ECE approvals in portfolio makes the procedure much quicker and cheaper. The loose requirements to the cars compensated by time limited application of the procedure:

• until 1 Oct 2022 without mandatory ERA-GLONASS installation and certification
• from 1 Oct 2022 till 1 Feb 2023 with mandatory ERA-GLONASS installation and certification
