According to the decision of the Commission of the Customs union of July 15, 2011 N 711 "About the UNIFORM MARKET CIRCULATION MARK in MEMBER STATES of the CUSTOMS UNION" each unit of production (in our case a vehicle), which is subject to confirmation of compliance to requirements of Technical regulation, has to be marked by a mark of conformity of the approved design. When marking vehicles (chassis) the label must be located on the manufacturer's plate or on the separate plate (sticker) located below or sideways from the main plate..

Marking is carried out by any convenient way providing image sharpness and excluding wearing out (point 4.4 of the Appendix No. 8 to Technical Regulation).

Sanctions for violation of vehicles labeling requirements

According to article 14.43 of the Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offences (N 195-FZ):
"Violation by the manufacturer, performer (performing functions of the foreign manufacturer) or seller of requirements of technical regulations" leads toan administrative penalty... on companies - from 100 000 to 300 000 rubles.
